Built in 1905 in occasion of the Milan World’s Fair, it is located on the edge of Sempione Park. The facade features a Neptune statue designed by sculptor Oreste Labò. The Aquarium includes also a public library, with one of the most prestigious collection of marine biology publications in Italy.
